More Cover Updates for 2020 Releases!
Be still my heart! For the rest of our "un-covered" 2020 releases now ALL have covers that have been revealed! Let's dive in!
1) The Care and Feeding of Waspish Widows by Olivia Waite
I admit, this was my favorite placeholder that I made, but oh boy, the real cover does NOT disappoint! The black and yellow theme was simply a must, and they delivered in a big way! Plus these ladies absolutely sizzle! Ah! It's sheer perfection in my eyes, and I just can't wait to read it!!!
The Care and Feeding of Waspish Widows is updated to be released on July 14th, 2020, but you can preorder it now! Need a refresher on the synopsis? Here you go!
In this historical f/f romance you’ll find:
A grumpy widowed engraver working far too hard to keep her print-shop going until her son is old enough to take over
A middle-aged lady beekeeper who goes striding about in trousers and loves bucolic poetry
A Queen on trial in Parliament and the press
Luxuriant English gardens with extremely naughty statues
Satirical ballads about tight pants
… and more than you probably ever wanted to know about early 19th-century beekeeping!
2) Two Rogues Make A Right by Cat Sebastian
Okay, okay, we'll get to how unbearably cute these two rogues are in a second - but first I have to have a moment about making this placeholder. Because for whatever reason, it was the one that I had the hardest time with and changed the most (it started out a deep crimson) before I finally settled on this color. And ummm...I'm sorry, is Cat's name actually in the same color in the final cover? I'm like...whoa. Weird coincidence...OR NOT??
Haha, well anyway, gosh it's time to gush. Because this cover is just. so. darling. I love these two rogues at first sight, and I've heard from Cat herself (well, Cat via twitter) that THERE'S ONLY ONE BED. *clicks preorder....realizes has already preordered....waits impatiently*
Two Rogues Make A Right comes out on June 23rd, 2020 and is, of course, available for preorder now! And while the synopsis wasn't available when we first posted, it now is! So enjoy!
Will Sedgwick can’t believe that after months of searching for his oldest friend, Martin Easterbrook is found hiding in an attic like a gothic nightmare. Intent on nursing Martin back to health, Will kindly kidnaps him and takes him to the countryside to recover, well away from the world. Martin doesn’t much care where he is or even how he got there. He’s much more concerned that the man he’s loved his entire life is currently waiting on him hand and foot, feeding him soup and making him tea. Martin knows he’s a lost cause, one he doesn’t want Will to waste his life on. As a lifetime of love transforms into a tender passion both men always desired but neither expected, can they envision a life free from the restrictions of the past, a life with each other?
3) All Scot and Bothered by Kerrigan Byrne
Well, for this one I can't claim and coincidences, but the fiery, tartan passion on the cover is more than enough to make up for my miss! Oh geeze, I can't wait to read Cecilia's story! Her red hair is so perfect, and I love the saturated tones of the cover. I suppose I would be remiss if I didn't mention the HUNK that is portraying Ramsey....because he looks about eleventy-billion feet tall *faints* Ahhhhh gosh I wish we didn't have to wait until September for this one, but I suppose that good things come to those who wait!
All Scott and Bothered comes out on September 29th, 2020 but of course, you can preorder it now! And sadly, there still isn't a synopsis, so we'll be sure to update you when there is one! But as we shared before, she did say in an interview:
"I’m especially excited for the next book ALL SCOT AND BOTHERED because it’s about Alexandra’s best friend the curvy vicar’s daughter, Cecelia Teague. She inherits London’s most infamous and successful brothel, and one imposing, surly Scottish enemy along with it. She and Lord Ramsay, the Lord Chief Justice with an axe to grind against her establishment, can’t be in a room together without the sparks flying. I can’t think about this book without smiling."
4) Beauty Tempts the Beast by Lorraine Heath
Again, my placeholder was far off, but I'm so in love with these jewel tones! Ahh the purple, green, and pink absolutely SHINE. And...ummmmmm, BEAST!!!!! Need I really say more? Well, I hope I don't, because I'm a bit inarticulate at the moment. I'm also having a MOMENT because....the synopsis is available and has me dyyyinnnng for this book!
Beauty Tempts the Beast comes out September 29th, 2020 but you can preorder it now!
And here is that delicious synopsis...
She wants lessons in seduction
Althea Stanwick was a perfect lady destined to marry a wealthy lord, until betrayal left her family penniless. Though she’s lost friends, fortune, and respectability, Althea has gained a scandalous plan. If she can learn to seduce, she can obtain power over men and return to Society on her terms. She even has the perfect teacher in mind, a man whose sense of honor and dark good looks belie his nickname: Beast.
But desire like this can’t be taught
Benedict Trewlove may not know his parentage but he knows where he belongs—on the dark side of London, offering protection wherever it’s needed. Yet no woman has ever made such an outrageous request as this mysterious beauty. Althea is out of place amongst vice and sin, even if she offers a wicked temptation he can’t resist. But as the truth of his origin emerges at last, it will take a fierce, wild love to overcome their pasts.
